Marokko, Paradis Plage Surf, Yoga & Spa Resort
The resort did not disappoint, the yoga studio is great with a fabulous teacher (Karsten), the room (we had booked a premium suite) was huge with two balconies and bathrooms. The 27 restaurant where we ate most days is great with good local seafood and a lovely Mille Feuille (not to be missed!).
The view of the beach and the beach itself is quiet and nice, very clean although I did hear from many guests that they were helping pick up the mass of plastic to keep it that clean. I would love to see the hotel itself do more to trim down the use of plastic (refillable bottles for example).
We tried the spa facilities, the orange blossom massage was lovely but the Hammam was a little lack lustre; really a scrub and a shower however I have not had a Moroccan Hammam before so cannot compared.
The staff were all so lovely, not imposing and always helpful.
I think the only real changes I would like to see is a little more maintenance and up keep of the rooms and the treatment of flies near the food areas; they are a real nuance so take repellant. I wonder if the hotel could use some natural ways in which to control them.
I would definitely return and largely for the teachings by Karsten. Completely refreshing and nurturing.
